How to find a strapless bra that actually stays up

Why strapless bras slide down, how to measure, and the one sizing rule that fixes most of it: one band down, one cup up.

A strapless bra has one job, and it is a hard one: hold you up with nothing over your shoulders. When it slides, it is almost never you. It is the fit.

Why strapless bras slide

The rule that fixes most of it

Go one band size smaller than your everyday bra and one cup size larger. That is called a sister size: the cup volume stays the same, but the band holds tighter. A 38C everyday bra becomes a 36D strapless.

How to measure in two minutes

Our Stay-Up Strapless uses letter sizes chosen by bust measurement, not band and cup. Our size finder on the product page matches your bust to the chart, and between sizes it picks the snugger one so it stays up.

What to look for

Test it the honest way: arms up, a big hug, ten seconds of dancing. If nothing moves, it fits.

Questions

Should a strapless bra be tighter than a regular bra?

Yes. With no straps, the band does all the work, so most fitters recommend one band size smaller than your everyday bra and one cup size larger to keep the same cup volume (a 38C becomes a 36D).

Why does my strapless bra slide down?

The most common reasons are a band that is slightly too loose, too little side support, or worn-out silicone grip. Going down a band usually fixes it.

What sizes does the Stay-Up Strapless come in?

Letter sizes chosen by your bust measurement, in Sand, Mocha, Onyx and White. The product page lists every size.
